Hes just recently moved up from DUPLO to LEGO system bricks and absolutely loves them.
We’ve been formulating the list of books we want to read together this year. So today we got out some big stacks of books and read a lot of synopsis’ to refine our list. They’ve got awesome taste in literature, if I do say so myself.
Puzzles are his true love right now. A new big floor puzzle is always a time for fun and excitement, even after his toddler sister managed to pour a bottle of Vanilla extract all over it.
More chess. Deliberating carefully before deciding whether to move the pawn one or two squares.
They love eating bread, and these days they love making it too.
Fridays are chess club day, and they love arriving early to help set up chess sets and displays.
Complicated coloring books are always fun.
While I haven’t been posting pictures regularly, I have been continuing my photo project. This is usually a quiter time of the year, since we tend to stay at home out of the cold and pursue our various intetests. We’ve been reading, building with LEGO and puzzles, coloring, baking bread and desserts, playing chess and video games, etc. So here’s look at the third week of our year
