Do you work hard and more effectively at a challenge when it is something you want do, or something you are told to do? It’s a rhetorical question of course, and perhaps a silly one. We all probably realize that our most productive times are when we are engaged and excited about whatever we are doing. 2015 was a great year for reading in our house. We listened to a lot of great audio books as we drove around, and in September we started a new bedtime routine that involves reading a chapter book together for half an hour or so after dinner. But let me clarify something, because in contrast to the many baby name sites that parents-to-be frequent, we are not choosing a baby name. We’re choosing names for an adult.
Fall is one of my favorite times of year. Crisp air and the changing colors make me want to get out and explore. After the heat of summer and before the winter freeze is the perfect time to go wandering through forests and investigating leaf covered parks, preferably with camera in hand. There’s always something new around the corner, even if we’ve been there a hundred times before. Continue reading “Fall Exploration”
